Developments in Progress

Pensacola is partnering with developers, investors, and community leaders to transform underutilized sites into vibrant places. Through public-private collaboration, these projects are moving from vision to reality, strengthening our economy, expanding development opportunities, and delivering long-term community benefits.

Home Builders Association Infill Homes

In partnership with the Home Builders Association and the City of Pensacola, Pensacola Habitat offered three brand-new homes for sale to eligible buyers through a special, limited program. This program is separate from the Pensacola Habitat Homebuyer Program and, although the homes are located within the Community Land Trust, the application process was different from the CLT program.

Buyers for these homes are not required to complete "sweat equity" or other Homebuyer Program requirements, such as background checks. However, all homebuyers must attend an 8-hour Pre-Purchase Homebuyer Workshop.
